As my story
unfolds, 

Writing has always been a comforting constant in my life. 

What started as journaling, quickly broke into short stories I would force unwilling friends to read and, eventually, songs. 

For about a decade, I stuck to tossing tumultuous waves of emotion into songs that I would sing much too late into the evening, driving my large family batty. 

And then there was the great pause. It was a time when I simply forgot everything I loved about written words and time spent reading.

In early 2022, after the pandemic swept joy and connection from the majority of the world, I pulled out my smartphone and began to type. 

The only time available for me to do this with two young children and a newborn was the many hours I spent nursing or laying with a child who wouldn't nap. It didn't take very long until nearly all I could think about was pulling out that phone and writing. Turns out, this writing also brought back my raging desire to devour other's writings as well. 

And the rest, as they say, is history.
